Notes from an easel-work in progress-the Valley stage eleven by David Gough

Progress may seem imperceptible, and even if I'm indulging neurosis, by the end, I may actually have something as crystaline as the bullet of that first vision.

  1. Still my favourite by far David.
The perspective leading you into the skull's mouth, through the open doors like being inexorably pulled in .... it's special!
The quietness of the girl reading just adds to the tension ............. love it and can't wait for finished photo.

    Cheers,
    Paul

  2. Thank you Paul,
its proven a labor of love-and at times loathe this one. The biggest piece I've ever done, I think it needed a big statement.
Unfortunately for me, I have to follow it;)
